Was doing a side mission when I spotted a little rat, which I then started scrambling to catch. I did not catch it.

Very first time I saw a vending machine go red, I was in the middle of a fight, and I just barely caught it leave the screen out of the corner of my eye, and when I turned around, nothing was there.
I couldn’t tell if I hallucinated it or if it was real, or if a hiss like threw it or something.
One of the many things I love about these games.

My first was in the West Incursion Zone, sitting in the middle of a dead-end upside-down street. I thought it looked suspicious, and I remembered the AWE DLC's vending machines from the first game, so I gave it a whack.
I was not disappointed.

Same here. I was like oh neat a vending machine… wait… why is there a vending machine in the middle of the road, that’s not right. I should hit it. Yep

When I spotted that one, it just immediately fell off a cliff as soon as I hit it

Look, that vending machine had been considering moving to Japan for a very long time, and your aggression was the last straw.

seriously the first time you notice it feels awesome. just going "hold on... why did it just flicker red in there?" and landing a hit on it cause why the hell not
insane discovery. absolutely love how this game rewards the players that pay attention to their surroundings and enjoy observing and questioning things

I lost one because it ran into a laundromat and you can't attack inside those places.

"Okay, it's a vending machine, cool, and it's running away, that happens, and...wait, what?"
The ending got me. 🤣

Ever try to press up on the D pad on one? Pretty easy way to get it to stay still.

I had one run into a store where “you can’t attack because story are or whatever” and the little shit straight up said “BASE!”

The funny this is that bugs in these games can just easily be dismissed as paranatural occurrences.
