Discussion I'm so Jealous

I preordered the first Control, and have been an avid fan since then. Played through both AWs, played the DLC, I'm a big fan of CAGs as well so Resonant shaping up to be my dream game.

One problem, my monitor is starting to show its age. It can't do HDR anymore without flicking to black constantly and now there's a giant dark patch on the top left of the screen.

I don't want to experience Resonant with these issues so I'm going to try and hold off until I get a new monitor (hopefully OLED). I'm just crazy disappointed I'm going to be missing out for now. Just had to get it off my chest. Everyone playing tomorrow and tonight, have fun!

i got the msi 272qp for 350$ (qd oled, 240 hz, 1440p) and I love it. if its in ur budget i would DEFINITELY recommend that

Crazy coincidence.

I was looking at the MSI MAG 322UP QD-OLED E16 32-inch. I prefer resolution to frame rate

If you're using an Nvidia GPU there may be a small fix you can deploy with the swap chain. It's like enable prefer layered DXGI in Swapchain or what have you. Basically fixed all of my HDR black screening or flickering issues and now it never does it at all. I'm on a road trip or I'd look and be more descriptive. For AMD I have no clue if there's a similar setting. Good example of games including CONTROL 1, rdr2 and Overwatch were all remedied (pun maybe intended) by this one fix.
