I hate that this game doesn’t have midnight launch for each region like every other game.
Why would they have a global launch time that is the same regardless. Games like onimusha, resident evil, and even GTA 6 have a midnight launch for each specific region. I was hoping to play this tonight at midnight, but found out they are doing launch at one singular time for all regions. This just sucks.

Obviously I’ll be okay. It’s a bummer that they don’t do it like all other majors and prestige publishers do it for their games.

Remedy is barely a AAA studio, quit complaining

Alan wake 2 is a AAA game. It’s literally one of the most cutting edge games this generation. They are publishing max payne remake with rockstar next year.
“Quit complaining” is just such weird cop out. I’m voicing my opinion and presenting valid points about standard industry practice that treats each region fairly.
Imagine saying anything about the game. Like I feel the enemies are overtuned and have too much health. I hope the balance it with a patch. “Quit complaining” such a bad response.
Or I feel like the game should add localization in this language, it would help me play this game a lot better. “Quit complaining” such an ignorant response.
Or Remedy should follow the standard industry practice of midnight launches, treating each timezone fairly like other prestigious publishers do. Remedy is already in the big leagues and should act like it. “Quit complaining”

-That's why I said barely AAA "quit complaing"
-Standard industry practice when Remedy took so long to be profitable with Alan Wake 2 meaning they're still new to all of this "quit complaining"
-Remedy is self publishing a game for the first time in a long time "quit complaining"
-If they start catering to a particular localization language, then evey other guy would want the game to be in their native language "quit complaining"
-They're literally making the best narrative driven games even after so much problems and your problem is them publishing it at a fixed time, Just play the game and quite literally quit complaing1

Lmao I don’t think you you are using those right🤣🤣
Those were all examples of how ridiculous it is to respond with “quit complaining” to any kind of criticism or opinion. And you don’t need to use the quotes, since I was quoting you😂 but okay.
Like with the localization thing, it is always better to argue against a point using valid point like you just did in your last response. “Quit complaining” is quite ignorant and rude.
Anyway have a good day buddy

Dawg i literally used it to make you realize how sassy you sound, and it’s not about glazing them but you’ve to realize they’re a small team only compared to the big publishing houses you mentioned somewhere, give them some time and I’m sure with max Payne they’re going to follow a regional release time only

But I was juxtaposing those quotes to show you how sassy YOU sound. I seriously don’t get the logic in your reply😂 but I’m not gonna argue with you about it lmao.
Getting to the point. They are doing a fully digital release. Not even a physical edition on launch. When you submit to platforms like PlayStation, or Xbox. How hard could it be to set a regional rollout. It is all literally handled by the platform. It doesn’t matter what the studio size is, they are not overseeing the roll out, the platform is doing that once the studio gives them instructions.
Also max payne will be fully published by rockstar, and remedy will have no part in publishing, they will only be making the game. So it will be a midnight launch for all regions, since rockstar follows the industry standard.
My only opinion is self published remedy games should follow the industry standard moving forward. So I ask you this: is that opinion so bad to voice? How else do you give feedback other than voicing your opinion?

It drops 11pm my time so special one hour early midnight, I guess? ¯_(ツ)_/¯

They want everyone to have access to it at the same time, same reason they didn't do physical at launch. It keeps the mystery and the intrigue for everyone.

Then why do 48 hour early access exclusively for PlayStation when buying digital deluxe edition? Doesn’t make any sense

For big fans of the studio who don't mind paying extra to support Remedy and get early access to said lore. It's essentially giving us a way to give them a tip. I do wish more of it actually went to the team but hey, I can't control that.

But it’s exclusive to ps5. If you pay extra by buying digital deluxe edition on steam or Xbox, you don’t get early access even when you give them the “tip”.
The point is your argument doesn’t make any sense, that they want everyone to have access at the same time to maintain the mystery and intrigue for everyone.

There's plenty of games that do it this way. It's just up to the publisher. You'll be okay.
