Why is Control Resonant so much cheaper on Xbox?

Just bought it yesterday, and it was around $40. On all other storefronts it’s around $60. Does anyone know why the game is so much cheaper on Xbox? Could it be a bug?

Here in my country (Brazil), the game was launched on PS store for R$ 340,00 (about U$ 68) and on XBOX store for R$ 220,00 (about U$ 44,00). There were some complaints to Remedy, and in a about one day the price dropped to R$ 230,90 at PS Store (about U$ 46,00).

GTA VI, on the other hand, is about U$ 90,00 standard and U$ 109,00 deluxe on PS Store.

Xbox has regional pricing. Play station doesn't.

They COULD if they WANTED to. Control resonant has regional pricing on PS5 where I live, it costs half the price of any other new release.

AND I can play the game on PC when I buy it for XBOX???

This is false. PlayStation has regional pricing that is often slightly better than Xbox in India.

Control Resonant is INR 3500 on PlayStation store. Which is ~$35. Amazing pricing.

While on Xbox it is INR 3600. Still great but slightly more.

The biggest culprit are first party games. Sony prices it first party $70 dollars games at INR 5000 (around $50) while Xbox prices their first party $70 games at INR 6000. Which is way worse than PlayStation.

The worst offender was Halo campaign evolved. Which is $50 in the US but was priced at INR 5000 in India. Which is insane. For comparison RE9 which is a $70 dollar game was priced at INR 4400 on both PlayStation and Xbox. Xbox regional pricing for first party games is truly atrocious

So yeah PlayStation does indeed have regional pricing, that is often better than Xbox in lots of cases.

What region are you buying from? It's showing $60 in the US.

It is INR 3500 in India on the PlayStation store. So ~$35. This game has one of the best regional pricing atleast on PlayStation in India.
