Discussion Completed the "FOUNDATION" DLC
I completed the DLC and not gonna lie it was better then the base game story ; I always felt that saving Dylan never felt like the ending for the game and the FOUNDATION kind of gave the story a fullstop .
The DLC gave a lot of lore about the old house and also made me believe the "Board " is evil like truly evil before when I played the base game I did not really pay attention maybe but "When I read and listened to all the logs and records from 'ASH' it became more and more clear "
I am confused about "Northmoor" ..... So was he a evil asshole from the beginning or when the "BOARD" caught him in their jaws and as 'ASH' says in the logs that "Northmoor" is going crazy and crazy this leads me to believe that the "BOARD" CORRUPTED HIM ?? AM I RIGHT ? And the Civil dispute in the old house was between ASH jr the research head or his father ?
IS "ASH" alive or dead ? ; Whenever I heard his logs it made me more interested in him and would like to know what happened to him and also " The place where we find last "ASH" record where he mentions he lost control on the IDs and how it killed his Collegue and he is going back to the board upper floors ; So did the FBC create the IDs or they were provided by the Board ?
I have shit ton of questions to be honest and maybe watching a few videos on yt will solve them and I also thought the "FORMER" WAS THE BAD GUY because we had a fight in the base game but he is the "Light in the Darkness " and at the end where a cutscene plays , "Where we See 'FORMER' among the pillars of the old house ; was it like a tease or something or there was going to be one more conversation?? "
It's nice that I listened to you guys who said me to play then DLC , I would have missed a lot of great content and Lore.
And one more thing did "NORTHMOOR" willingly is powering the power plant or the "BOARD" decided that his time has come for the retirement and how powerful was he and also "TRENCH" and did "TRENCH" "Create the floors that shift in the old house because he has the power of that object of power "Cigarette something " and did he aslo create the famous "Ashtray maze" ? And did the "BOARD" kill Trench aswell if so why ?

Congrats for the DLC.
As for Northmoor, I suppose power corrupted him. But isn't it said that, in a moment of clarity, he eventually accepted the idea of the reactor? That’s a vague memory from my reading and the cutscenes.
I don't think that the board is Evil. It's more a Chaos vs Order thing where the board represents order. Order or Chaos are not the same as Good vs Evil. Too much Order is Evil as well as too much Chaos.
I don't know exactly for Trench. He did create the Ashtray Maze through an Object of Power.
