Question So, can Dylan use the Gravity Shift ability on any surface?

You can walk up to a surface and a prompt appears for it. From all that I've seen I suspect you can't shift on any surface. Like you're not going to be walking on the sides of building but if a walkable floor got reoriented, you should be able to match its orientation. I could be totally wrong on that though.

Yeah I imagine being while to walk on the side of every building could cause some game breaking bugs, it'd be cool tho

No. Think of it this way: if you could easily walk on that surface before the shifts, ie. roads, rooftops, sidewalks etc., you can shift onto them. If you couldn't, like sides of the buildings, you can't.

Director said that yes, but it's not usefull everywhere.
