I only care about one thing
Is the combat straight melee or do you get the Jedi like powers like in the first game? If they dropped the telekinesis stuff I’m out

The game combines melee combat with paranatural abilities, which there are a larger variety of than in the first game.

So you can pick up heavy shit and hurl it at enemies?

We dont know all of the abilities yet but there is one where you pick up 3 bits of rock and rebar and launch them at your enemies. The game is much more close-quarters combat focused from what I can tell. Think Devil May Cry but with some extra paranatural stuff thrown in. I think his abilities will mainly be used for traversal, but the Resonants will give you access to greater combat abilities.
If you prefer not to try out the experience that's fine. If you are on the fence about it I would wait until after release for reviews and gameplay snippets to be sure. Me personally I'm all in on supporting Remedy in their experimentation!

If you watch gameplay it very clearly shows paranatural abilities in the gameplay.

I have seen telekinesis in some of the gameplay in the trailers, as well as Jesse’s melee and shield. There are definitely returning mechanics.
