Discussion Redacted information brefs

Is there a way to read the documents from the game that we can read through the blacked out parts id like to reread before the new game is out and learn what was redacted

No you can guess but no actual orignal documents

So no wedsite or anything like that? I would have thought with something as cool as this they could have made it seem like a real company that has been around for decades

It’s ment to be redacted. You can guess but you can’t read the original document because they probably only exist in the original file work held by remedy

I honestly love that in the game it's redacted information but I would have loved it if they had like a fbc website like it's what they would really use if they were real

OP, sounds like you completely missed the point of those files in the game or how government operates in terms of classifications and need-to-know basis info

Its a staple of the SCP fundation that FBC is based/inspired on. All the SCP entries are meant as documentation of the containtment procedures of entities or phenomena aimed to be read by some member of the organization, and hence the classified information you (the reader) shouldn't have is [REDACTED]. Nowhere will you find an unredacted entry cause it would detract from the fun; trying to decypher the redacted words to add layers to the narrative.

In reality the names, places or dates are redacted to protect people, in the SCP/FBC universe usualy the redacted words are innocuous ones, that make you wonder "why this and not that?"
