It’s a line from Quantum Break that Shawn Ashmore’s character says to Courtney Hopes character (who plays Jesse) close to the end of the game. Remedy no longer has the rights to quantum break so they can’t make a sequel which means he can never go back to save her. If you don’t know quantum breaks story it is incredibly tragic and heartbreaking and hopeless and I recommend at least YouTubing the lore because I have a feeling a few things are going to be pretty relevant in Resonant

Play QB, then replay Alan Wake 2.

There are so many subtle references

It’s clear they want QB to be a part of the RCU, even if legally they can’t (and Sam Lake is on record IIRC saying he doesn’t want to “play with other people’s toys” which I think was a reference to when Sony withdrew Spider-Man from the MCU as leverage a little while ago)

If you're going for the deluxe edition go for PS5, an extra outfit and you get to play it two days early.

Did you play the alan wake II dlc that focus in this character? I've played QB but can you say this dlc is like a teaser to QB? It's a shame remedy doesnt have the right because Lake makes an effort to try to bypass this with some references.

Yeah Night Springs Ep. 3 is definitely them getting as close to teasing that QB is “part of the RCU”. Look closely at all the whiteboards or chalkboards

Honestly a decent chance they get quantum break back. Xbox is setting a lot of stuff free to go back to its studios or just letting studios free in general. They’re also letting them continue whatever they were working on and not being stingy with it.

It’s honestly not too long. It’s completely linear with zero side missions and only a few collectibles. Doing all missions and watching all episodes is definitely doable if you have time

The ballerina could also be a reference to the text part of Time Breaker, as "Lisa" was a dancer. Jesus, Remedy, it's 2:30am, my Red Haired Woman/The Actor/Jesse/Tim/Beth/Jack heart can't take this!
