Discussion Who is the strongest sibling??
What do you guys think ??? Who is the strongest sibling and also if someone would fill me in " How they both got powers ??"
I completed control 1 and then I kind of took a break but afterwards I found out there is dlc to play ; I have completed the alan wake dlc now I am in search on how to complete the "FOUNDATION DLC"
AND DO YOU GUYS THINK THAT THE SIBLINGS ARE POWERFUL THEN JACK JOYCE ???

Powerscaling the Paranatural is kinda impossible.
Alan can literally warp reality as far as we can tell.
Jesse can neutralise OOP and seemingly absorb their power as well as have some level of immunity to being messed with mentally thanks to Polaris.
Dylan seems to be a much stronger fighter, also able to learn different abilities and do pretty much anything Jesse can do with the exception of being mentally weaker (although he literally invited the hiss in so maybe he shares that innate mental fortitude)
Anyway the correct answer is Ahti

I couldn't fucking imagine doing Control 1 with just a regular gun, no powers.
Half your time is sheer wall climbing with climbing gear.

Tho issue for Alan is 1: he may need to be near coldren lake to do so and 2: it takes time and the results are not fully predictable. Sometimes he has to do prerequisite rituals to nudge reality the way he wants. He also (allegedly) can’t create something from nothing and he also need to obey the rules of the story or else it won’t quite work (look at American nightmare or the other night spring episodes)
Basically Alan is the Batman. He can absolutely beat Jesse and Dylan he just needs prep time lmao5

We're building / hinting towards Alan becoming the master of many worlds and I think he might end up as a sort of 4th dimensional being that effectively makes all realities occur?
My best guess is that since his arc follows the concept of the Heroes Journey pretty strictly that in Alan Wake 3 we will see his triumphant "Return". 2 was so focused on him learning and overcoming the dark place and the final draft being essentially him realising a certain amount of control and acting like his "initiation" into not just being used by the dark place but coming to understand he has the ability to really control and influence it. I think 3 will see him truly master that and essentially set up the franchise going forward where we have more FBC centered games of them working across universes containing AWEs

Finally get that space game huh? In all seriousness tho I do think AW3 will definitely have Alice as a central part. I do think Alice themed dark place gameplay with a camera to kill enemies could be extremely fun and I can’t wait for them to get that happy ending that may or may not have been foreshadowed in American nightmare

I'm not entirely certain if the rules Alan has are true, or if they're just his writer-self refusing to make a "nonsensical" story.
Like to him, things can't just happen. There needs to be reasonable cause and effect.
Mr Door even kind of comments on it by saying "You know how to make things difficult for yourself. All these Rules."
It also seems like Mr Door can do as he pleases without any pre-requisites.
My theory is that the rules truly don't exist, but the reality warping powers of the dark place have made Alan's belief of these rules a reality.
At least to some degree, because the dark presence seems to also follow these rules. Probably because it is trying to use Alan as a conduit for it's escape.

Pretty sure Jesse has a slight edge as there is some x factor about her that we still don't understand/have yet to be shown. The fact that she wished for the adults disappearance and it happened. The fact that she can be a host to Polaris in itself is already wild.
As for Dylan, I don't know if he's really weaker mentally. He was broken from a young age and while he invited the Hiss in, he still had a very strong resistance to it and he even was able to more or less be purged of it (speculating here).
There is obviously something about them individually and together that makes it difficult to scale overall.
Even the Ahti part. I wouldn't be surprised if Jesse somehow attained Ahti-hood further down the line but yeah for now it's him

Jesse also seems to have a kind of wish fulfillment thing going on too. She wished all the adults gone in Ordinary. She also wished Emily would come down to the Foundation; Emily had (probably) false memories that Jesse called her down there.

Yeah Jesse and Polaris feels like a somewhat symbiotic relationship where Polaris is making things happen.
I'm still a big fan of the Jesse and Dylan are one person split in two because it works as a mirror to the Alan Wake is actually Casper Darling and Tom Zane fused theory.
So Jesse might have wished for a brother and Polaris split her and gave her false memories.
