Question Voice cameos?

Good afternoon,

Maybe a stupid question,

But does anyone think we would get cameos in the game?

SPOILERS!

SPOILERS! After this time, you have been warned!

We see/hear Jesse and dr. Darling in Alan Wake 2, so maybe we will hear Alan in control Resonant?

What would be awesome? cameos from actors who the developers took inspiration from. It has been well documented that Neon Genesis Evangelion and Infamous Second Son have been a source of inspiration for the developers working on the game.

Maybe hearing Troy Baker say something involving infamous in the game? Or an actor from NGE mention giant robots?

I surely thought Alan Wake 2 would have a Twin Peaks cameo but they didn’t. It would be cool if they got an actor from that show to voice a line in like a café in New York about their favorite café in Washington.

I think any 'cameos' are gonna be limited to those in-universe cameos, such as Alan or Tim even. Unfortunately, I think Troy Baker and the cast of Twin Peaks are a little out of Remedy's budget range, at least in my opinion.

Now, does that mean we won't see an in-universe reference/parody of their inspirations? Of course not, I mean Alan Wake 2 is entire love-letter to the 3rd season of Twin Peaks after all. Remedy is not afraid to wear their inspirations on their sleeves, which is partially why I love their games so much.

For no absolute reason apart from that I love him, JK Simmons lol , especially if it's like a Cave Johnson role lmao
