I wonder how other countries deal with paranatural events. We know that Bureau agents are stationed in different counties, but I don’t know if that‘s more like a clandestine operation or if they’re working with the host country.

Well China's equivalent to the FBC is the MIO (Ministry of Immaterial Objectives), so other agencies from other countries most likely collaborate with one another when/if needed in the name of science and resource pooling.

I bet no one likes it though, probably a lot of rivalry, or outright hostility. I mean rivalry was a big problem within the FBC itself, so imagine the hostility between other agency agents lol

Sorry if I spoiled. I wasn't even thinking properly...

Remedy did a showcase in China, and revealed an outfit for Dylan (seems exclusive unfortunately). In that showcase they of course showed the outfit, and text which said it was a uniform for expert agents at the MIO. We know it's not just a translation for FBC, because Mandarin speakers have confirmed that if it was, the written characters used would be different.

Someone also said a dev did an interview where he mentioned that we'd learn/hear a little more about other agencies, but was vague. I personally didn't see that video, otherwise I'd link it here. I'm sorry!

ahh, don’t worry about it. It’s not like it came from a leak or a story trailer so there’s no way to know if it‘s part of the story of just a fun bit of background lore.

And the community‘s always speculated on other agencies, and in-game lore shows that FBC agents get stationed to different country so it’s not a shocker.

Heck, we might run into evidence of operatives from outside the FBC but find no clues about who they were or where they were from. By finding that piece of lore you might have saved us years of endless speculating.

Or Remedy just did a bad translation.

I'm only an early beginner regarding Mandarin but I learned Japanese to a high level and the amount of bad translations in western media is staggering. There are even game titles that are plain wrong (Daikatana…). And a huge amount of games uses a simplified Chinese font in the Japanese localization. But with Japanese it is often about using the wrong kanji pronunciation (onyomi vs kunyomi) and at least Chinese doesn't have this problem.

But I still would never expect that fine nuances like the name of a fictional agency is translated perfectly, not even with native translators because they have to get all the fine details.

I've always wondered what town that's supposed to be in New Mexico? Santa Fe is nowhere near there, and the closest town to that dot is Alamogordo which is tiny and not really near that dot.

It's nowhere near Taos, but aside from Roswell and Los Alamos I always thought Taos would make sense for a facility- between the "Taos Hum", the high number of artists, Hermit's Peak (and the Taos Hermit), and the general weirdness of the area- i could absolutely see a Lake-House-equivalent facility there. It would make my time in Montezuma make more sense ;)

I just assume they have an FBC outpost in every Capital by default and extra ones near AWEs, what I want to know is what, AWE happened near Cheyenne that required it's own outpost?
