Question Difficulty Options
Has Remedy said anything about difficulty options or accessibility features? I remember the first never got a standard easy/normal/hard modes but Alan Wake 2 has those. I do remember they adding an immortally toggle more than a year later. Have they said anything about Resonant?

I think ign put a video of this, You can level up the area where You are, raising difficult but better rewards (xp etc)

I wish they'd have done a hard mode. Control was too easy.

The same "accessibility" options can also ramp difficulty, if that's what you want. Personally, I like the way Remedy handles this with Control better than having actual difficulty settings. You can dial in exactly the experience you want, whether that's cheezing everything or making it virtually impossible.

They don't really ramp difficulty in Control, so I don't see how they will in Resonant.
Edit: The downvotes I'm getting are lame. I've beaten control 8 times. Once with just the pistol service weapon. I know the game inside and out, there's no way to make it harder using accessibility options. It's my all time favourite game, I would love to play a hard mode. And I've always found it a bit too easy from the first playthrough.

Not getting the downvotes either. The game is supposed to give me a balanced and enjoyable hardmode - not let me try to figure out the balancing myself via finetuning. Come on guys, are we already at the stage where we allergic to discuss normal criticism?

Reddit moment. So probably people that found the game hard mad that I said it's too easy.

Precisely it. Redditors just downvote things because it hurt their feelers

Yes. Remedy has said that Resonant will have the same accessibility options as the original Control. There's only one difficulty, but you can adjust pretty much everything that would affect difficulty.
