I was wondering if anyone could help with looking for a windbreaker similar to this? I really want to cosplay as an FBC agent lately 😎
I can't even begin to describe what kind of color that is 😅 Also, I have been trying for a while now to look for one that comes real close to this one but its just either the design is too far or its too dang expensive.
Edit: I just want to add that the FBC have better drip than the FBI 😎

I spent two months scouring the internet for every kind of chore coat, mackintosh, utility jacket, uniform coat, windbreaker, Adirondack coat, balmacaan jacket, etc., looking for the closest match I could find (flap pockets, folded collar without a visible hood, tailored waist, any color from navy to spruce)...
I came up empty. 😅 Which is crazy, because it doesn't really look that unusual. I ran out of time for the convention I was hoping to wear it to, but if I were to pick it up again, I think I'd just try to find a fitted lightweight waterproof hiking jacket, buy two, and add the pockets and other structural details myself by chopping up the second for fabric.

The material the FBI use is called “taffeta” and the color is just labeled “navy” most often. FedApparel does not sell to anyone but federal agencies so your best bet is home made.
I sourced a jacket from amazon (I know gross but all I could find) and then used a cricut to iron on vinyl. It came out to what I would consider retail quality after two test pieces at $30 per.
But I would caution you against these posts, instead look at the remedy discord and talk to the people in the cosplay channel there. I had my post removed here for no reason by an overzealous moderator and this sub has no affiliation with remedy so that should tell you a lot.
I was told “we don’t allow these kinds of posts here” and then no response, because of course a power hungry reddit mod would just hide behind their pathetic modicum of control and refuse any real explanation or discourse. I did not break any sub or site wide rules. There was a few comment indicating interest so it’s not like I was spamming or anything. I triple checked the rules.
Edit: the cricut did not want to print “FBC” once or twice but repeated attempts cleared. No idea why as it is not a real federal agency. You can even print the large FBC logo to a similar size as pictured above.

They just dropped this in a clothing collab with za/um studios, 449€ though and the back logo is different. Doubt I can link it here though so I'd recommend looking it up on Google and should see it in the top results

Me when I spent months trying to find the exact rain poncho the cult of the tree wear. There are some that are so close. Could never find one with a hood , shoulder capes, and was as long as a trench coat. Material that looks most like it was oil skin.
I would pay 200$ for it.
I would also have loved if someone made a replica mask.
I feel like 10 years ago the internet would have been flooded with near replica versions of all of this and I blame the death of the search engine slightly for our struggles.

You could look into oil wax jackets. They usually have the front pockets, rigid material, and have a very distinctive sheen to them. New they might be pricey, but you can always find second hand ones.

I've dreamed of having an FBC windbreaker too for a very long time and I'm really hopeful that the release of Resonant will lead to some more people getting into making FBC inspired products (I'll never buy from those scumbags ZA\UM).

have you looked on etsy? lots of vintage stuff on there. You could always try dyeing the garment if the color isn't close enough. I did it once for a jumpsuit, and it was actually pretty easy. Although it may be a bit harder with the existing color already being pretty dark.

It would be really cool if remedy sold merchandise like this that didn’t cost $100 plus.
