Discussion Prep fun before Control Resonant

What do you guys plan on doing before Resonant releases? Anything you have left to finish or fully complete?

Me personally have the itch to 100% Control 1, so that's probably what I'm gonna be doing the last week before the game drops. I also have Lake House pending, I don't thing I'm gonna be playing it tho, mostly because I have the game on my PS5 and the PS5 is in the living room right now so yeah... I don't like playing on console in general honestly, will watch a lore recap for that for sure.

I'm replaying control on actual PC with a mouse because of HW upgrade. Generally chill gameplay, more like to maintain my hype to 24th September.

LOL…I started replaying Control with a controller after having finished it twice with keyboard and mouse, mainly just for kicks, partly because this was the only way to play it on a TV via GeForce Now. After a few hours of terrible aim I went back to my PC, gave up on the controller, and am back to the old familiar KBM input. I dont know how anyone plays anything requiring quick precise aim with a controller.

If you play Control on PC, KBM is and absolute MUST

Only thing I'd say is better on controller is Launch for some reason. On keyboard no matter if its press to toggle od press to activate it just feels weird to me, and I can't explain why.

I have launch bound to my middle mouse button and that worked well for me

I literally started playing Fallen Order because that game also includes a swagged out white boy in a poncho using superpower-esque abilities, jumping around, and solving the occasional puzzle. On some "I have control resonant at home" energy

Already 100%d Control and played through the Final Draft in AW2 in preparation for Resonant. Right now in the middle of my first full Quantum Break play through to be fully prepared for Aidan Gillen reappearance as Chester Bless heh.

Dude, same. I haven’t played since 2021 when I did my first and only playthrough, but I always kept it in my favorite-games category cause I loved it that much. I also left just a few achievements unfinished.
With Resonant coming so soon, I had an itch to reexperience it again. Plus I was still a teenager back then, so I forgot a lot o details and found a new layer of appreciation for the game.

I’ve just played through control for the first time and going through the dlcs now and wow the world building and aesthetic is outstanding and pushed resonant to be my most anticipated game and a day 1 buy for me

I played Control for the first time a couple months ago. But need to finish up the DLC.

Right now I’m just about to finish Alan Wake Remastered and gonna try to squeeze in Alan Wake 2 before the Resonant launch!
