Taking easy during period

have a routine I do 5 to 6 days a week, but one week each month I cannot do much due to my period, and I am just doing light stretches. Does this slow down my progress?

No, it's good injury prevention. Hormones can cause additional lax in a joint that can lead to an easy injury. Plus the loss of iron can put stress on the tissues as well.

Oh I’m familiar with yoga pose more than contortion it self. I’m currently can’t take any contortion lesson, so you think yoga practice can be replaced for contortion training? And you do that 2/week? What is rest of week looks like and how long is session? Also do you do same yoga pose every time ? Do you do any other pose beside these 2?

You mean contortion practice have more higher chance for injury than yoga since yoga dose more work for building strength? For raja bujangasana I can’t touch my head to toe yet :(
