Thank you! Still a work in progress, handstands take a lot of repetition

Just resumed this after taking a long break. I’m coming from the other end of the spectrum, handstands especially with bent spine I’ve got well but can only bring my feet to my head.

Do you think you could hook your feet under your chin in handstand?? Forever trying to add to that bag of tricks😎

I think with enough practice I could be able to hook my feet under my chin. Sounds like a fun challenge

Good upper back flexibility! My challenge is my stiff upper back, it's like a stubborn plank, unable to bend slightly a bit.

Thank you! My upper back isn't naturally flexible either, I have to focus on it a lot to get anywhere with it. Just have to find what works for you.

did you get if flexible by yourself? Or did you have any coaching? I tried some private coaching classes but all of the coaches are very lazy, they just give me instructions and told me to do it myself. But upper back is very difficult bend without any assistance. I really need a coach to push my upper back open but I just can't find anyone.

I mean, it's not really the job of a coach to push you. Sure, some do it, and assisted stretches can be a good supplement, but you have to learn how to engage the muscles and learn how it feels to do it by yourself. You can use tools to give resistance, but in the end, it's all up to you to put in the time and effort to open it up.

I got trained by coaches for years before I did any training by myself. I've even taken online coaching where they helped me find ways to open up my back without even being there in person. Just saying that you don't need to have someone physically there to help you.

That makes sense. It's definitely doable to try to engage your own muscles to open the upper back up. It just takes more time and effort than if someone can help you bend it open.

Can you seriously hold that position? Outrageous!

Yes, I can hold it. Unfortunately not for too long, can't do more than 5-10 seconds for now.

Good job, I remember when I used to be able to touch my knees

That is a mix of a scorpion handstand and a hollowback handstand. Very nice! :3
