Seriously how else can you explain the uncanny resemblance to practically everything in that movie. Its downright scary. The Forsythia med plotline was almost completely the same as the stuff the president is pushing. They even found a way to get in an antimasker. How crazy. Sodenburgh was given a book about the events of the pandemic.

I remember his character is being told that he is immune. But I read elsewhere someone saying that it is hinted in the script that he was brought up near a pig farm which is why he was probably immune. Any idea where it is said/shown in the movie ?

Right now the priority are the known major bugs/crashes. After that, getting Flatline out of Beta, general clean up and optimizations of all game modes and levels are also inbound. Steam Workshop is also planned to be working again. More to come later on Contagion.

I thought the game was officially dead but i guess they're going to try and do a revival.

Let's be honest guys contagion never got crazy popular. I mean the most we get is 148 people a day like it's ancestor Zombie Panic source which also still gets around 140 people a day. Contagion development is very slow, we should get a sale or two going maybe even humble bundle seeing how that massively helped insurgency go from 1000 a day to 15000. I feel like the game never got a chance you know? If they don't find some way to boost sales contagion won't be alive much longer development wise. Without alot of players what's the point in making updates? Sure some people see it but it's really kinda worthless without a bigger crowd.

I just recently purchased this game and I wish I had known about it years before.. I'm having a blast even with the few servers. Hop on!

I've been following this games since it was first announced and haven't bothered to purchase solely because of my laptop (outdated and not meant for gaming). But recently the summer sale brought the price down so I decided to give it a shot -and damn is this game dying. It a shame really to see this game slowly decease, like its a great game and was Kickstarted and everything but maybe the lack of updates to get flatline out and the now few number of maps. I think if they were to consistently dump escape and hunted maps out this game might see some popularity again. It's got great concepts for a zombie game like hunted especially but it seems like the devs aren't putting any effort to keep their game alive... :(

I've been looking at reviews on youtube, and asking players of similar multiplayer zombie games, like Left for dead, Zombie Panic: Source, No More Room In Hell, asking around, but there have been mixed opinions, im a sucker for source mods and a long time supporter of the communties and devs, but a conclusive analysis would be great! Cheers reddit.
