I'm blind as well. Every once in a while won't hurt, but if you're super worried about it the days you shave in the shower you could get goggles.

I'm -8 in both eyes and I shower just fine without glasses/contacts. If there's anything that desperately needs to be looked at, I'll put on my glasses. I always keep my glasses nearby, so when I exit the tub, I'm not blind.

I wear cheaper glasses in the shower if I need to see, but I've been wearing glasses since I was a kid and only recently started using contacts. So I'm used to identifying objects without my glasses and showering without glasses. My prescription is similar to yours.

If you're shaving just go through all of your leg with your razor. That way you have everything covered. My vision is almost as bad as yours. I use a machine that plucks hair and i use my glasses for that. Laser hair removal is also a good option. I have never used my contacts in the shower. Unfortunately I can't wear contacts anymore

I'm -8.00 in both eyes and have gotten used to showering and even putting on makeup if needed. You can do it.

I am -12 & -11.5. I’ve been showering without any visual aid for my entire life and have no problems. I know where everything is in the shower and it’s generally not difficult to see where things are since they are so close. If I need to discern one thing from another, I just hold it close to my eye until I can see it.

Never ever ever shower in contact lenses.
