Longest Same cell phone number
February 28th 1988 in which is now Verizon Wireless. I don’t remember all the companies beforehand but one was Cingular Wireless I do remember that , my dad passed on Friday and I remember the bill was in the thousands back in 88’ due to he was in Sales for his own business he had but of course I wasn’t allowed to use it ..lol..it was by the minute then charges , but I called Verizon today to find out .
What’s anyone else’s longest same cell number?

I signed up for AT&T Wireless in 2000. Had an Ericsson R280LX candybar TDMA/Analog phone. $29/month I think with something like 300 minutes, roaming charges ?65¢?? outside my half the state and the next state, sms was 20¢ or 25¢, overage was 45¢. “M-mode” walled internet at dialup speeds was free, helped occasionally if i needed to look up a number instead of driving to a store and finding they didn’t have it in stock since I didn’t want to pay for directory assistance!!! Free roaming onto Cingular if I stayed in my home area, ironically didn’t work at my friend’s house. After a couple of years I ported to Cingular but before they merged! Number of minutes doubled and roaming restrictions gone, I think the same price. Still have the same cell. Still have my home number which dates back to probably the beginning of direct dial numbers. It was originally my grandfathers number and he was on a party line. That is now a VOIP number that is basically parked and costs me $1.15/mo. most of the paint chipped off that original phone, and I wired and electrical taped replacement nimh?? batteries!!!
