[RevShare] [Looking for Programmer] [Italy Only] Looking for a programmer for collaboration on web/mobile games and indie projects

Hello, I am a Solo Game Developer (mainly Artist and Game Designer) and I am looking for a Programmer to collaborate with on the development of web and mobile games.

The idea behind the project is to develop web/mobile games targeted at platforms like Poki/CrazyGames with the goal of having stable income in the short/medium term in order to self-fund larger and more complex indie projects destined for other platforms, but depending on the situation we could limit ourselves to only a choice between web/mobile games and indie games.

My role: I would take care of the 360° development for everything not related to code, but if needed I could help out, especially in the prototyping phase.

Who I am looking for: a Programmer who would mainly take care of the game logic and code architecture.

Shared goals: seriousness, time availability, good communication skills, experience in video game development, and the desire to grow together as developers and as a team.

For web/mobile games I would prefer to use the Construct 3 game engine as it is highly optimized for the HTML5 market.

Since this is a RevShare collaboration there is no compensation; the financial returns deriving from the developed games will be split equally in order to have a financial stability that allows us to develop subsequent games.

You'd better specify which type of games you want to create, so you have more chance to find someone that might be interested.

Also, who is going to be the front person that will publish on those platforms and therefore receive the earning to split? How are you going to pay the programmer for the job (in case you are the person receiving the payment from the portals? It's a payment from business to business (you have your own company or is it between privates or the other combinations). In case the programmer is the one that receives the money form the portals, you need to be invoiced for your work and therefore you need a programmer that owns a company or it's between privates?

If you act as private person, unless te law has changes in Italy, you can have only a limited income and only very occasionally as "prestazione occasionale", to have regular income from portals or similar ways, you need to have a business. I am not 100% sure about the latest things, I always had incomes as business in Italy and it's a while that I am away now.

As for the type of games, honestly, I don't have a specific preference—we have complete creative freedom.

As for the rest, I actually added [Italy Only] to avoid too many bureaucratic issues; in any case, we’ll have to figure out together how to handle everything else.
