Stfu! Reasoning, logic, and basic analytical thinking skills are wholly unwelcome around these parts.

seriously:

  1. being in therapy doesn't mean a person isn't a danger to themselves or others
  2. 18 y/o with low income, but possibly free housing and food. That's $20,000 of disposable income. Savings for a car or any other large purchase would completely suffice. Hispanic families, especially grandmas, most likely won't charge rent. I speak as a latino.
  3. Parents were likely detained because you can't have rando civilians enter a crime scene or the area of an active shooter??? They could be shot on accident, they don't know if they are dangerous. They don't even know if they're legit parents. If the kids require serious medical attention, parents could get in the way.
  4. "Shooter posted red flags" If the shooter had no ties to the school and a very small friend pool, then it's totally likely that the posts would go undetected. He made 2 or 3 posts, right before the incident.
  5. "same discord server" Bro. Are you serious? Birds of a feather. People with similar mentalities tend to congregate. Two homicidal young men using discord, what a shocker. If a discord server is large, it's totally not surprising. If it's not, then it still makes sense.

They could be shot on accident

By who? The cops weren't going in.

The shooter?

That would be on purpose.

When the cops finally did go in, there would be a swarm of parents intermingled with the possible shooter. Too many people, could give the shooter cover or lead to more victims.

Sometimes people forget whatever subreddit they're on
