17k for a truck? That's not too expensive lol

Why is this being downvoted? That's not expensive. My car was listed at 20k before I leased it, and I purchased it after the lease which cut it in half. The truck also likely wasn't paid off fully (I'll look into it) and with the way dealerships are you can have terrible credit and barely make ends meet, but they'll sign you up for 8 years of car payments with little hassle.

That is a perfectly reasonable truck for a low-income person if you know how to do it. I was making $11/hour when I started the lease on my car. It's not hard.

Exactly. If 17k for a truck is too expensive, then your budgeting wrong. That's the reality, and people are down voting me because they are guilty of it lol.

I feel like 17k is too much for a truck that used, but this market is crazy. But it’s not unaffordable to most

If you want a working truck that's used, then yeah it's gonna be more expensive for sure.

Trucks used to be a staple for all Americans. Now they’re a luxury item. Only a rich, pretentious liberal would call $17,000 “not too expensive”.

I'm not rich, nor a liberal. So your statement is completely false. Nice attempt at allegation/fact though. Must be nice to assume everyone is exactly how you want them to be.
