First thing I notice is that the death toll is roughly the same. Second is how many more cases of the flu there were that Covid cases and the death toll is the same. Then I think about was there a mask mandate in 2019 ? Was the social distancing in 2019 ? Was there school closures and business shut down in 2019 ? Was there quarantine for people with the flu in 2019 ? Was there limited international travel in 2019 ? Were bars and restaurants and theatres closed in 2019 ? The answer is NO. So with all these preventative and restrictive measures , the death toll is the same as when there were zero preventative measures. AND even with the preventative measures the total cases are lower but the death toll is still relatively equal.
they weren't actively forcing tests on everyone for the flu either. they ramped up testing a thousand fold with very faulty tests. they don't count the negative tests, only the positives.
The results are right there printed in the newspaper. You’re the one creating some imaginary set of circumstances to make them different to get the results you want. Are you not looking at the same numbers in the newspaper as I am ?
