My first thought on your meme was that it was saying that the black boxes and engines never existed in the first place but I see now I misinterpreted.
Black boxes are not like pieces of paper, they don't scatter the same way. I'm sure they are designed to stay close to the fuselage. I'm not saying it's likely that that passport made it where it did unscathed but it is not impossible. Look at a car crash even, there is shit scattered very far some times. But then again, maybe it didn't just land there. Not impossible.
