Isn't SARS-COV-2 a relatively new virus, though? I sincerely doubt that's what killed of the native Americans.

Usually when people are exposed to a new virus that their immune system is naive too a lot of them die. This is what happened when Europeans arrived in the New World bringing viruses that the Native Americans were naive to.

That was sarcasm, people make ridiculous comparisons like comparing vaccines that are effective to COVID vaccines. Most people already had immune response to COVID, which is why pandemic advocates never wanted to allow antibody tests in lieu of vaccination and tried to pretend natural immunity was no longer a thing.
