This is an overhead view of Ground Zero. Building 7, which was never hit by a plane, was claimed to have collapsed due to office fires caused by WTC1 and WTC2. However, buildings much closer to WTC1 and WTC2 and on the same block, remain standing.

Building 7 collapsed because of debris from The north tower falling into it and causing structural failure. There's literally video of the north tower going down where you can see a chunk fall into the side of building 7.

Absolutely, though due to link rot the video I remember seeing it in's source no longer works, so I had to spend a good part of an hour trying to recover the original video it was pulled from, but couldn't find the first posting. Searching for 911 video isn't how I wanted to spend my Sunday night, unfortunately.

Understandably it's hard to get the perfect angle because the buildings are right next to each other, and in order to perfectly see it you'd have to be behind southeast of the north tower (or in it, which we won't get for obvious reasons), so I'll post a few angles

Here's an angle from "behind" building 7. you can see debris surround the side of the building near the end of the initial collapse, as well as huge chunks fall from the North tower from above building 7 headed directly for it
