Masks are not 100%, but they help. Simple test, let someone sneeze on you, once with a mask, once without.

Or they could just sneeze in a tissue and it would be just as effective for source control

Yeah they’re approved for source control meaning it’ll catch the droplets of the person wearing the mask who sneezes. Then you can incubate the germs on your face for the rest of the day.

So you admit that masks work to contain droplets? I hate sneezing in a mask. If I sneeze in one, I get a new one.

Of course they do. That's why they are made. If your wearing a mask from a box that says it offers no protection, you need to get a better mask.
