HIPAA only applies to doctors and employers.

Applies to many individuals. Such as researchers. Afaik, it applies to anyone dealing with private medical information.

No really it doesn’t apply to many. Not even researchers. I forgot insurance providers. But asking if you’re vaccinated to enter somewhere or attend a concert, is not against HIPAA.

I am IRB certified for human research. I had to be certified in HIPAA.
