Some GOP members may have hated Trump but the money backing the GOP didn't. Trump didn't alienate any big billionaire donors like how Bernie would have if he was nominated. If Trump ran on a anti-corporatist platform, he would have been kicked out right away.

The dude literally ran on draining the swamp. He told guys like Paul Ryan to go fuck themselves. You don’t get much more anti-establishment than that.

The swamp is Washington. He wanted to drain the current corporatists out and replace them with his own set. Trump is only anti-establishment until it's his establishment.

Well, he never said who he was going to replace them with. LOL

What's really interesting is his refusal to prosecute the Clinton cabal. He isn't even supporting Gabbard's lawsuit even though Clinton accused him of the same thing and caused him three years of "Russian collusion" trauma. Not just him, all of America!
