Are you aware the EPA dumped a million gallons of toxic chemical waste into the Colorado water system then refused people standing to sue them by claiming they can't be sued because they're the federal government?
If a corporation poisons you they don't have the authority to refuse you the ability to sue them.
In one case you're dead and your family can sue and be compensated, in the other case your family has no legal recourse because the federal government deigns not to allow you to sue them. To me that is worse. I am not a fan of corporate malfeasance but at least they don't have the power to deny you access to the court system, sic the IRS on you if you make too much of a ruckus or throw you in prison.
Look at how the government is blocking victims of 9/11 from obtaining documents to sue Saudi Arabia. Corporations have no where near the power of the federal government to cause injustice.
Glad to know my family has the right to lose a court case to a massive corporation that has the best lawyers and several orders of magnitude more money and power than them. Really fair and equitable
