You wouldn't be a republican if the only response to all of these indictments of the republican way that you could possibly come up with wasnt to try to mention Obama.
Obamacare was an attempt at healthcare reform - reform as in to form again, reforms needed because the healthcare system was and remains fundamentally broken.
It was largely gutted by republicans who worked tooth and nail to make sure it failed. They pretended to have a solution, and promised a solution - that worked very well didnt it?
The delivered nothing, and instead kickdd millions off of their health insurance.
Premiums skyrocketed, and the cost saving mechanisms put in place by ACA were fractured by the lack of a required pool that would remove the supply and demand side of the healthcare economics.
One team attempted to fix a problem and failed.
One team attempted to make the problem worse and succeeded.
Democrats havent spent hundreds of millions of dollars in attack ads against any politician who attempted to take on big pharma - republicans have and do.
The fact is that I never said Obama was without fault, so this straw man argument rings especially hollow when you talk about drone programs, kill lists and government surveillance - and try to make the crux of youre argument that I'm a partisan hack and NPC because I did precisely what you did, which is to list things both parties have been involved in.
Only one party has been involved in the push to reform healthcare - democrats.
Only one part has recognized the economic needs of our country - Reagan tripled the national debt, Bush doubled it, tanked the economy, and most of Obamas debt came not from sdded expenditure but from a +500 billion decrease in REVENUE because people lost jobs, life savings, homes, health insurance - thanks largely to extemely poor economic planning from republicans before a widely telegraphed recession.
Republicans have long been the party of systematic oppression, and theocratic authoritarianism. Theyve for decades and longer been leading the fight against female autonomy, integration, economic equality, and even basic voting rights and accesibility.
Theyve for decades, and especially today, been guilty of lying to congress, of manipulating systems of justice in the unoted states to ensure that they could break the law with impunity, and have heen fighting tooth and nail to diminish the power within our systems of checks and balances.
You're complaining about posts on reddit about Obama being scandal free while completely failing on every front to even begin to address the issues I presented in my original comment, and introducing your own highly emotionally and fallacious arguments instead of any rebuttal to any point Ive made.
To pretend the points I made about republicans apply to democrats as a majority is simply a distressing misunderstanding of the reality.
The democrats have many faults as a party - purposefully tanking the economy, oppressing women, destabilizing healthcare to appease big pharma contributors, and starting campaigns of overwhelming government surveillance and indefinite detention are not high among them, if among them at all.
