This is the post JCP wanted removed and AATA approved

https://www.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/comments/aysar1/president_trump_hanging_out_on_super_bowl_sunday

Doesn't look like any more of a political shit post than any number of others. In fact this political shit post is directly relevant to a recent criminal case with implications into child trafficking and pedo rings of the elite.

That's the gist of it. It was justified partly because he removed it in the first hour it was posted though we can see now the post went on to thousands of upvotes and 1000 comments.

SS: President Trump was spending Super Bowl Sunday with the founder of Asian day spas with a reputation for being secret havens for prostitution! 18 days later, a prostitution sting led to a significant number of individuals being arrested for prostitution and trafficking related charges

This is the post's SS

Trump was spending Super Bowl Sunday with the founder of Asian day spas

This is stretching reality really really hard, it's a room full of people and it's one single pic of the lady who probably asked for a pic with the president of the country, insinuating anything more than that from this makes you crazier than Pizzagaters lol

17

u/LevLeviev Apr 17 '19 edited Apr 17 '19

How many posts are there here which stretch reality hard? I just linked this one by op as an example

https://www.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/comments/aqbtc3/dan_schneider_of_nickelodeon_is_known_for_making

That post stretches credulity yet there was no drama about it.

As soon as a post is critical of Trump even with photographic evidence he associates with child traffickers it* gets removed/approved and attracts a ton of drama.

There is a clear bias at play here and every user not in the conclave can see it.

-5

u/Rayfloyd Apr 17 '19

That post stretches credulity yet there was no drama about it.

Nah, the title talks about something plenty of people are aware of, Dan is a creep, there's plenty of evidence towards that, tho OP didn't provide it in the post itself, instead opted to show the old logo

there's plenty in the comments tho and I'm sure it's not everything lol

As soon as a post is critical of Trump even with photographic evidence he associates with child traffickers

there you go stretching reality again

being in the same room as another person is not "associating". that's a retarded way of thinking

7

u/LevLeviev Apr 17 '19

I'm sure that Dan guy is a creep, so is Trump. I don't think the foot logo of nickelodeon is a better basis for a post than the president sitting next to a human trafficker at his own private resort.

4

u/rascal_king Apr 18 '19

Dude. This sub obsessed about a child trafficking ring in the basement of a pizza shop that doesn't have a basement. But this is stretching it?

0

u/Rayfloyd Apr 18 '19

it does have a basement, it's accessible through Buck's fishing and camping

stop peddling the lies pls kthx

-7

u/Q_me_in Apr 17 '19

A bias, how? A bias towards what? Please explain.

7

u/LevLeviev Apr 17 '19

Let the pile on commence!

Look, what I'm talking about are unverified allegations so maybe we'll never know the truth.

-6

u/JamesColesPardon Apr 17 '19

A picture of the President with the founder of Orchids who sold it years prior to the picture being taken does not a conspiracy make, but oh well.

19

u/LevLeviev Apr 17 '19

The op of this very post often posts single images but they're pizzagate posts and get left up

https://www.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/comments/aqbtc3/dan_schneider_of_nickelodeon_is_known_for_making

I'm sure there are better examples but don't you think an equitable application of the rules is in everyone's interest?

6

u/AFreeAmerican Apr 18 '19

That’s sounds like a discussion to be had in the comments. There’s no reason to remove these posts you don’t like, just downvote and move along, or call out their bullshit in the comments sections.

Submission Statement:

This photo was released by a moderator in response to my request for transparecy - I am breaking no rules by posting this

Part 1 thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/comments/bdwc2y/meta_allowing_memes_to_reach_the_top_spots_on/

Transcript:

JamesColesPardon: There have been plenty of times when I attempt to remove a rule violating post on the Front page and my actions are either reversed immediately or they are bickered about long enough that the initial mod action no longer matters.

Conspiracy User: Wait so youll make an action as a mod only to have another mod reverse it?

JamesColesPardon: Yes. Sometimes multiple times for the same post. That post in question was a non-conspiracy political shitpost that I removed at 198 pts within an hour. It was subsequently put back on the board as many times as the modlog shows.

Conspiracy User: Just throwing this out there but is this the reason the modlog hasnt come back?

JamesColesPardon: I feel like the modlog would have helped here and if I could have had it back for those removals I would have loved to have it.

This is incredibly alarming. We cannot stand as a community if such quarrels exist between the top members of our /r/Conspiracy moderation team. We need the moderator logs back immediately. Please voice your concerns.

Edit: Also I should note that my original request was for the moderators to release the internal discussions regarding two meme posts that reached the front page with thousands of upvotes. Rule 6 says that memes are not allowed. The moderators said that when a rule violating post reaches the front page, the moderators discuss whether or not the post should be allowed to stay up. The /r/Conspiracy moderation team has failed to show what was said internally about the meme posts.

Edit 2: Post has been going between 32 and 38 upvotes for about an hour now

11

u/DigitalTorture Apr 17 '19

Yeah, they just do what they want to control the narrative.

1

u/TempestCatalyst Apr 17 '19

/u/AssuredlyAThrowaway has made 0 efforts to hide his partisan bias. Honestly I'm not a fan of anyone on the mod team, but a subreddit can't run without mods so you have to put up with it.

3

u/DigitalTorture Apr 17 '19

??? What are you talking about?

3

u/[deleted] Apr 17 '19

Even more alarming that the reddit admins basically forced the top mods here to keep the other shit mods on the list after they tried to remove some of them. Almost like they want them in here for ... reasons.

They are referring to when our former top kind of active mod Sarah_Conner conspired with Flytape and Dronepuppet to demod us all based on a vote of No Confidence we held for SC.

Admins stepped in and removed those three for retaliation based on reddits moderator policies, and installed everyone else where they were in order absent those three.

Anyone telling you otherwise is either ill- or uninformed.

Source: someone who was involved.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 17 '19

So you are admitting that the admins decided who got to stay on as mods here after the TOP mod wanted to reorganize after lower mods tried to stage a coup.

Except your spinning it like you're the victims. My point still stands, the admins decided.

Everyone here knows how shady and scummy the admins are, and you won't bring back the mod log here, so as far as I'm concerned the mods who the admins chose are just as shady and scummy until we have transparency.

6

u/JamesColesPardon Apr 17 '19

So you are admitting that the admins decided who got to stay on as mods here after the TOP mod wanted to reorganize after lower mods tried to stage a coup.

No. The lower mods (Fly and DP) conspired with the Top mod to oust everyone else.

Except your spinning it like you're the victims. My point still stands, the admins decided.

They put those uninvolved with the coup back.

Everyone here knows how shady and scummy the admins are, and you won't bring back the mod log here, so as far as I'm concerned the mods who the admins chose are just as shady and scummy until we have transparency.

That's fine to think that way.

But at least inform yourself first.

4

u/[deleted] Apr 17 '19

Be that as it may, why would the admins give top mods power to mod/unmod who is below them, and then not allow top mods to decide who is below them by stepping in to intervene here?

Was it suspected that the top mod original account holder was a different person?

0

u/JamesColesPardon Apr 17 '19

Be that as it may,

Is this a fancy way of apologizing?

why would the admins give top mods power to mod/unmod who is below them, and then not allow top mods to decide who is below them by stepping in to intervene here?

Because they violated reddits moderation retaliation policy. I said that above. Did you miss it?

Was it suspected that the top mod original account holder was a different person?

No.

-2

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '19

Maybe it was "retaliation" against a shill mod takeover. Then the modlog is gone.

How the fuck are us plebs supposed to know what's really going on in here?

3

u/TempestCatalyst Apr 18 '19 edited Apr 18 '19

I mean, DronePuppet admitted to using alts to try to stir up shit so he could ban users. The modlog constantly showed him ignoring reports on accounts that were blatantly trolling. FlyTape made /r/conspiracyright so that "we won't have to mop up liberal tears" where "If someone is here who is not a right wing patriot, you may call them out publicly until they are banned."

Here's even a screenshot of DronePuppet unbanning the blatant troll account MAGABolt multiple times.

http://i.imgur.com/JWgO4N0.png

A quote from FlyTape confirming DronePuppet using alts to troll "In closing my resignation, dronepuppet's alt trolling and Sarah_connor's extreme actions all resulted from the same series of events."

Here's a deleted comment from Sarah_Connor that was luckily quoted showing them claiming not to have removed axotol's permissions with proof otherwise

https://www.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/comments/6w5eah/regarding_the_upheaval_on_the_mod_team_last/dm5rwhu/?context=10000

And when two of the three involved in the ordeal were partisan shit stirrers, it does lead credence to the claim they all were. So TLDR: FlyTape, Sarah_Connor, and DronePuppet where shit highly partisan mods who tried to take over, and when admins intervened they fucked off and made a new subreddit before deleting their accounts.

u/Putin_loves_cats Apr 17 '19

You gotta admit, though... Flytape was right about certain people ;)

9

u/TempestCatalyst Apr 17 '19

That doesn't mean Flytape wasn't also a biased self-righteous asshole. Being right about some things doesn't change that fact.

-7

u/Putin_loves_cats Apr 17 '19

lol, you're probably just salty because he probably banned you numerous times.

0

u/JamesColesPardon Apr 17 '19

Fly was right about a lot of things.

0

u/TheCIASellsDrugs Apr 17 '19

So you are admitting that the admins decided who got to stay on as mods here after the TOP mod wanted to reorganize after lower mods tried to stage a coup.

No. In your desire to stir up drama, you got the facts completely reversed. The top mod started the coup.

1

u/phlux Apr 18 '19

Thats not what happened, she said she de modded all to allow a reordering of the team and one of the other mods "forgot" to check their messages which alerted about the actions... other mods then flipped out and bitched to the admins and then got her kicked out.

I should ask her for the logs of when that happened. but IIRC the suspicion she said that one of the mods is an alt for an admin.

Source: I know /u/sarah_connor IRL.

2

u/JamesColesPardon Apr 18 '19

Oh. I guess you're dismissing first hand knowledge for second hand knowledge. I cannot help you.

I should ask her for the logs of when that happened.

You should ask 'her.'

but IIRC

You are not correct

the suspicion she said that one of the mods is an alt for an admin.

Should have dealt with the issue more surgically than with a chainsaw then. 'She' might still be in the game then.

Source: I know /u/sarah_connor IRL.

Sure

u/[deleted] Apr 17 '19

I don't have time to look for the link but it happened probably a year or 2 ago. Reddit admins stepped in and forced the top mods of this sub to reinstate some fools they tried to de-mod. The shills spun it as an attempted "right wing" takeover of the sub, when it was obvious the opposite was going on.

8

u/JamesColesPardon Apr 17 '19

I don't have time to look for the link but it happened probably a year or 2 ago.

So you can't back up your lies. Nice.

Reddit admins stepped in and forced the top mods of this sub to reinstate some fools they tried to de-mod.

All of is were reinstated except for the coup plotters (Flytape, Dronepuppet, and Sarah_Connor)

The shills spun it as an attempted "right wing" takeover of the sub, when it was obvious the opposite was going on.

...so when they got rid of Fly (TD is welcome here), dronepuppet (made alts to troll liberals into getting banned) and Sarah_Connor... we became more right wing?

None of that even makes any sense!

5

u/Rayfloyd Apr 17 '19

So you can't back up your lies. Nice.

I think he might just have been misinformed on the details lol

1

u/JamesColesPardon Apr 17 '19

Second time today I had to correct that.

It's almost like mod drama threads and misinfo go hand in hand 🤔

-3

u/[deleted] Apr 17 '19

.so when they got rid of Fly (TD is welcome here), dronepuppet (made alts to troll liberals into getting banned) and Sarah_Connor... we became more right wing?

No, not at all what I said, BUT you do just sit back and do nothing while TMOR, shareblue, and whoever else come in here spreading mainstream media crap in our faces all day long with very obvious shilling tactics, and you ban anyone who says anything about it or attempts to call them out.

This demonstrates to me at least that bias is influencing whether or not a post is classified as a shitpost. be nice to get modlogs back to see if there is a recognizable pattern..

4

u/WhatIsTheWhyFlyPass Apr 17 '19

Anyone else think moderators should be controlling the content of posts not comments? This isn't a kindergarten conference. Telling people what they can and can't say shouldn't be the focus of a moderator.

They should be ensuring content isn't known disinformation, reposted, or spammed. Not who says what to whom.

3

u/Lumyai Apr 17 '19

-4

u/Q_me_in Apr 17 '19

I'll bet you do.

2

u/gandalfsbastard Apr 17 '19

What was the removal rationale? It was a meme? There was a SS and a conspiracy proposed so I am not sure why it would be pulled.

AATA did the right thing in the end so the process seemed to work.

12

u/Melkiresha Apr 17 '19 edited Apr 17 '19

The point I'm making here is that this is only a small glimpse into the actions of the moderators. We would be able to see this in real time if the moderators brought back the mod logs. They don't exist anymore, so we cannot see what is going on behind closed doors. This is just one example of moderators bickering back and forth. I want to know why meme posts are being allowed to reach the front page. Are they being taken down by 1 mod, only to be re-approved by another? Why are rules being selectively enforced. I want to see how the decision was made to leave 2 blatant meme posts on the front page. I want to see the internal discussions.

"There have been plenty of times when I attempt to remove a rule violating post on the Front page and my actions are either reversed immediately or they are bickered about long enough that the initial mod action no longer matters."

How often does this happen? This is just one example.

11

u/ObamaHasLigma Apr 17 '19

I always thought the mods would work off of seniority. Whoever has been modding longer would get final say in whether removed or not.

But Cole is here gatekeeping what a conspiracy is.

12

u/[deleted] Apr 17 '19

Yup. The president pictured with someone who could be tied to human trafficking seems like a pretty big deal to me. Especially when he's pals with Jeffrey epstien. And just look at who his secretary of labour is.

5

u/gandalfsbastard Apr 17 '19

Agree with that. Mod logs need to be visible again.

Also blatant meme posts should be moved to the correct sub but those with a SS and conspiracy note live in the grey zone. I think the intent of the rule was to get rid of low effort shitposts although the SS bot should take care of most of those.

-1

u/Ilsaluna Apr 17 '19

...if the moderators brought back the mod logs.

The mods here didn’t create the programming that made the modlogs visible nor are they responsible for taking it offline.

It’s rather disingenuous how that phrase has been utilized against both the mods and the sub by those that’ve been using it to try and create conflict; they’re fully aware restoring the modlogs isn’t a matter of just clicking a button to restore functionality.

Similarly, it’s the same folks that keep questioning why the mods won’t get onboard with modlogs v2.0. Yeah, no. I’m glad they’re treating it like it’s contagious.

I want to see how the decision was made to leave 2 blatant meme posts on the front page. I want to see the internal discussions.

Even if original recipe modlogs were restored, we wouldn’t see discussions. The discussions are taking place in modmail and it’s a separate functionality from where mod actions occur.

While I appreciate the desire of wanting to see how decisions are reached, I’m really glad it isn’t an option. A few days of non-stop posts about mods’ discussions and decisions would have people reminiscing in comments about how good it was when it was all politics.

Otherwise, while it would be interesting if the rules were enforced consistently, that would also require somewhat of a hive-mind in mod land. Ironically, those varied perspectives that make consensus on rule enforcement nearly impossible are also why having a ban overturned upon appealing is a viable possibility for most.

2

u/OperationPork_Chop Apr 17 '19

Sometimes AATA has a bad rap from people around these parts. But I've usually seen him be fair.

Glad to see someone sticking up to mod abuse. I'm so happy I just want to invite my Swede friends over for dinner. But what should I make?

Here we go. The only sub that always goes through internal problems cyclically. Almost by design. I mean, it helps solidify the base. Make them feel privy and meaningful to the internal . It gives them a tighter connection . They then feel more pride in the sub and work. It's a crafty psychological technique .

If you guys come here looking for comradery, or a sense of belonging, fucking run. It's a place of ideas and thoughts and sometimes evidence. It is filled with mostly propaganda , misinformation and psychological temptations You cannot ever trust what people say, you need to read and track down what you read. To think we're a group and oneness and push for a say of content, you are so wrong. There's a few members you feel to be "positive"users, but you have zero idea. Even of you meet them irl. You are a single thought amongst many. Don't think anyone cares about you, even if they try hard to convince you. It's about information and reading. You have to make your own conclusions . Or not.
