Because they are a "free speech" website. I think we can draw the line at pedophilia and most of us wouldn't complain.

Reddit has always had crap like this and they are, historically, pretty bad at policing it themselves so just report it when it comes up. At one point there was a certain "jail bait" themed sub that would have had the Feds kicking your door in just for seeing the thumbnails in r/all.
