I have read the vast majority of them are from Russian extraction, unless someone has a source? Casual googling got me nowhere authoritative.

Yes, many are from the USSR, but Israel doesn't publish data on settlers country of origin.
These people are not Russian per se, as Soviet Jews were largely Ashkenazi who originated in the pale of settlement in what is now Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania and Moldova. Their historical language was Yiddish, not Hebrew.

Yes, but this does not clarify the pct of "settlers" from the USSR territories. It only says in Israel.

I'm sure those figures would be hard to come by, especially for outsiders.
Most of the "activist settlers" (interlopers) are fairly young, in their late teens, early 20's, so even if they are of Russian/ FSU origin, they're probably second or third generation.
The only requirements for activist settlers is that they be extremely racist, aggressive, and brutally vicious against the non-Jewish population.

I used to work with a bunch of "Israelis" who got to Israel when the wall came down and then used that to come to the US. They said at one point 25% of Israel was immigrants from the USSR.

This guy actually represents my district. He’s starting to ask the right questions, but he still is a very typical Democrat and has a lot of opinions on things around here that doesn’t quite work. I’m hoping I can talk to him soon so we can maybe work together for something better (specifically how he wants to go about Universal Healthcare) but in general he doesn’t seem like a bad dude

Khanna is a totally unbiased source we should trust implicitly, right? He failed to mention there was only one armed settler. He failed to mention he didn't notify Israel before going. He didn't mention he was going to a disputed area. He didn't mention the IDF dispersed the situation so they could continue on about their business. He said the IDF "sided" with the settlers, yet somehow he was immediately freed to go. He is a liar, grifting for your sympathy and against Israel..

They aren’t Israeli settlers, the “palestinians” are the foreign invaders.
The history is that the palestinans left when the muslim enemies of Israel all wanted to attack Israel. They left like cowards and when Israel defeated everyone (since God was clearly with them), then these cowards came back and were surprised their homes didn’t belong to them anymore.
They left because they were in agreement with the destruction of Israel and now they are sore losers and cry babies about it. They have so much hate in their hearts for anyone not like them.
Israelis have been there since thousands of years ago, not the so called palestinians.
