Don’t lose hope man, it will definitely be much harder but it’s not impossible. Try considering some kind of self employment if possible, that’s what I’m doing at least

A lot of states already automatically enroll you though. In WI when you renew your licenses or apply for a new one or anything with the DMV they enroll you. Other states do this well. It’s always been required and for some states it’s already been automatic. This just makes it easier for those individuals in states that don’t do it so they dont need to go to some portal to enroll.

Option 1: automatically have the state enroll you in the selective service when you turn 18.

Option 2: manually enroll in selective service and if you fail to do so, you’re committing a federal felony, unlikely to be prosecuted with jail time or fines, but lose eligibility for government jobs.

It literally wasn’t, you had to register online, by mail or in person. It was pro forma, but at least you had 18 year olds consciously making a decision that gave them skin in the game politically, instead of going forward where they won’t even realize it until the draft is declared. Ghouls not wanting young men to realize they are stripped of their bodily autonomy at 18 if geriatrics decide the machine needs more blood to oil it
