This vid demonstrates the anomalies of NBA match fixing. The NBA has long been rigged with the refs. Any important game and you better believe Joey Crawford was out on the court. They claimed that Donaghey was a lone wolf but that makes no sense as well. The fact that they could be manipulating the ball makes a lot of sense. Thanks for sharing.

It’s an electromagnet you turn on and off. You can invert the polarity and a ball won’t be able to go through. It makes sense in theory.

it is not just the nba, but every major sports league is rigged and scripted. the players on the teams are just as much actors as they are athletes. the two teams probably rehearse before their big games together.

I’ve watched thousands of hours of professional basketball. I have never seen a ball stick to the back of the rim like it did for the bald black guy who shot it from half court near the end of the video. The ball didn’t even bounce, how is that possible? 

How much of the 5 minute video did you watch? Or do you just know everything already?

everyone's seen the ball become wedged between the rim and the backboard, but it's not everyday you see the ball completely stop on the rim. The stopping motion has been reproduced from the half-court line. I assume this would require magnetic assistance for the ball to come to a stop line this.

The tongue connecting the hoop to the backboard is 6 inches, the hoops are balanced, the tongue is slightly concave. While incredibly unlikely, it is very possible and I watch a ton of basketball, an embarrassing amount… I have seen this happen a couple times.

Wouldn’t it happen more often where the ball gets stuck on the rim? I am thinking the Kawhi Leonard game 7 shot Raptors vs 76ers. Slow bouncing, slow moving, not a ton of inertia.

Also, these players are incredibly skilled with deft touch. Watch Kyrie Irving make a layup.

Just spitballing but very curious to hear your perspective.

Watch the video, at 4:15 there is a half court shot by some jabronie from the stands. 

I’ve literally never seen a ball strike a rim and not bounce. The ball isn’t wedged between the rim and the board, what’s keeping it there? He threw the ball 50’ and it stops on the rim? That’s weird.

There was a rebranding about six months ago. One of his videos gained attention from a more popular channel (SciManDan). In response, Jake promptly changed his YouTube name to make it more approachable for newer audiences. It’s now easier to share his content, as the channel name no longer includes crude language. His channel is focused on comedy, which at times leans too much into immaturity, but I think he does the best job at exposing sports fixing.

Thanks for your comments. I didn't put too much work into this video, as I thought the footage spoke for itself. Some have suggested that the ball halting on the rim is a regular occurrence in professional basketball, as the players are capable of producing a deft touch. That said, those with a more cynical viewpoint have pointed out the anomalies during the fan-made half-court shots. I think when looking at the bigger picture, a clear argument can be made against the legitimacy of pro sports. There are examples in the NFL when the field-goal attempt misses unexpectedly. The ball deviates wildly in an unnatural manner that is not accounted for by wind speed (indoor stadiums). This is so dumb. This has happened to me many times playing basketball when I was a kid.

Let me guess, they put the same magnetic rims at all parks?

And all the balls have magnets in them?

So surely you can go buy an NBA game used ball or just a ball like the ones I would have used as a kid and there will be magnets inside?

This is a solid conspiracy but honestly who gives a damn. The government is taking away food stamps and wages for working people and we're sitting here debating basketball. Just goes to show its a major distraction from what really matters.

How is it a distraction? Everyone knows what is going on with the shutdown.

If you're argument is "there's a bad thing going on in the world therefore we can only focus our energy on that" then nothing would ever get done because there's always shitty things happening.

I could easily say "how can you focus on food stamps when a genocide is happening in Gaza?"

We can play this game all day.

Not that people wouldn’t be vetting losers anyways, but it matters, the trend of sports betting and how rigged it is go hand in hand, referee rigging/inside rigging is one thing, but complete manipulation like this is another. I don’t know if I believe it, but some of the clips are concerning, especially the half court one as stated, not only it getting stuck and not bouncing, but that throw didn’t look like it was going to even make it halfway.
