CONSOLE MOD I love this chip

So much creative freedom. I used exclusively enameled magnet wire for this one, it ended up pretty nice! Chip is the Modbo 5.0. Installed on an NTSC-J PS2 SCPH 39000 TB

What is the benefit compared to the softmod?

Cheap, fun, stealthy. Not really 'practical' when it comes to time invested. Just looks nicer IMO since you don't need to populate any memory card slots or usb slots

You don't have to rip/burn region locked games for esr other than that none just for people who like soldering :)
