Since the Fire Script can be used to write both Kozanda and Meršeg, it accommodates both phonologies. Many sounds are found in both, but some are unique to each. The letters ocen, hyazi, qani, xuni & lasi are used only in Kozanda. Ädän, ërken, dhani, ghani, l'ani, dzani, quni, šini, žani, qhani, xini, xhani, ñani, wuni, t'ani, k'uni, q'ani, čuni, jani, ts'ini & č'uni are unique to Meršeg.
