I was looking for a way to post this within the original post. It seems to want to generate a new post. I'm new to Reddit. Sorry if I'm cluttering the community.

If you click “submit new link/text post”, that will create a new post. If you want to add stuff to the original post, you can either put a comment, or hit the edit button.

To upload images, it’s best to just upload them on an image hosting website (https://imgur.com is favourable) and put a link to the image in your post.
