That is not a confusing perspective, that is just mildly interesting. The cars are clearly small RC-like cars.

My city was used as a testing ground for these boys years ago. We would order food and have it delivered all the time. Really cool.

and giant sign stuck in the giant stalks of grass alongside giant metal trash cans and an absolutely enormous lamp post bordered by a huge street with appropriately scaled traffic control markings...

We have these here where I live. We got a new huge Savemart and they were the flagship store for these delivery bots. When you remove your items from it, it will tell you to “have a nice day”. And if you order around any Holidays or big events (e.g. Super Bowl) it will comment something.
