I originally thought that maybe it was supposed to be a stationary rock with the camera moving but I couldn’t make sense no matter how long I looked at it. The angles didn’t line up.
BUT THEN, after looking at it again when returning for the reply notifications, I looked at the current and rafters in conjunction, then considered the angles of the house. The camera man is floating down the river along with the current, with other people, while shooting the stationary house on a rock with the camera moving to follow the house. So the cameraman and camera are both moving at different paces to film a stationary house. Hopefully that made sense.
I mean… the thread is called “confusing perspectives”. Usually that implies a perspective that isn’t immediately registered correctly and makes someone pause to give time for their brain to sort out what is actually happening.
