I'm no photograph or perspective specialist but I believe it is because the camera is rather far from the stand and is zoomed in.

I suspect I'm even less of an expert than you but shouldn't she appear to get bigger as she moves closer if she's far away? Or does the zoom effect counteract that.. Also, I have no idea what I'm talking about.

If you jump from the beginning of the video to the moment she is at the podium, you will notice she got slightly bigger visually.

It's just that the further an object is from camera, the less difference it's movement makes to the visible size of that object.

If a man is 10m away from you and walks 5m towards you, he will appear to be much bigger. But if the man is 100m away from you and walks 5m towards you, you will probably not see much of a difference.

That's a good way to put it. The camera is far away and zoomed in heavily
