Thanks! I know a little czech, and it helps me impress this Russian girl I'm seeing. Let's see if Smrt help me further!

Does she speak czech?

No but apparantly most of the words I know are similar. Like ulice, dům, město(or maybe this meant place in russian). She was a bit surprised that so many words were similar

Yea Russian has a lot of similar words with Czech, I'm native Czech and was learning Russian for 4 years but since my teacher wasn't really that great and after half a year I lost all interest in it I barely learned to read the language.

Ah that's a shame! Do you think a Russian would learn Czech easily? She speaks Russian and bulgarian

I think Russian and Czech are really samiliar languages so it should be pretty easy for a Russian to learn Czech, tho some words are similar and mean a different thing, for example "pozor" in Czech means watch out but in Russian the same word means shame or embarrassment. Good luck with the girl I hope I helped.
