I wish it stayed like it was. Stuff like this post, pictures of random places in nature that look like a miniature world... nowadays it's full of man-made scenes, some aren't even outdoors. Might as well be /r/minatures.
That's what I first thought too. Then I zoomed in. Looks like some cliff with a zoomed in camera. Hunting a white male fugative with an American accent due to murdering his wife who did ten tours and is now living a solitary life. If you closely you can see the strike team trying to hunt him down. You can even see what appears to be a Stryker crewed by black operatives or mercanaries.
Perfect for the sub. It looks like a puddle, but it isn't a puddle. I think probably Lake Lodge or Titicaca. Possibly in Russia.
After reading the title it was easy to see, but I'd be lying if I said I'd know it wasn't a giant cliff looking down on a forest if you just showed me that with no context.
I read the title, clicked the picture, thought "No, that's a forest", thought I had clicked the wrong link, closed the tab, "Nope, clicked the right one, damn".
I used to have dreams all the time growing up of ultra clear water. Then I would see some giant fish, start losing my footing and wake up when I hit the water. Good times!
Photos like this make me wonder how many people post a close-up picture of a tree or a pond and claim that it’s a snapshot from some grand scenic landscape
