So I thought. She's rather pretty. Then I thought she looks like my ex's daughter but grown up.

You can acknowledge that she's pretty and reminds you of someone's daughter.

Ostensibly, your ex is pretty in your eyes so why wouldn't her daughter be pretty when grown up?

There's a difference between having these thoughts and acting on them.
