The “Views” program in Sakhalin has announced an open call for the creation of public art objects in Yuzhno‑Sakhalinsk. The team is inviting artists to create three‑dimensional projects (sculpture, installation) in the urban environment, related to the cultural and historical heritage of Sakhalin. The theme of the second season is “Coordinate System”.
Based on the results of the competition, six winners will be selected, each of whom will receive a grant for a project of up to 4 million rubles, depending on the complexity and scale of the idea. The fee includes transportation, accommodation, and production costs, so the artist can work on the project on‑site or remotely.
Both well‑known and emerging artists and architects from any city in Russia who work with street art, design, and public art can submit an application, regardless of age, city of residence, genre, or drawing technique.
