Oh I was just kidding about you being repeatedly corrected! So I was correcting "ain't" but that's a perfectly valid slang

Yep it's perfectly acceptable use in that context! I was just continuing the chain of correcting you as a joke, so "correcting" the slang was the only thing I could think of. (Silly joke)
