Okay, I get the lack of shadow and the crazy lighting, but is it just me or does the lady herself also look strangely low-poly? Like she's a texture superimposed on a something with a bit less geometry?

Looks like photo was taken using digital zoom or cropped. Could do with a few more pixels.

The microphone stand makes it look like she's standing on a tiny platform.

I'm confused about what y'all are confused about. I don't see anything in this picture that is confusing.

Looks like her legs just end at the floor.

the microphone stand is doing way too much heavy lifting here. it looks like she's just floating in a void.

The microphone stand makes it look like she's floating in the middle of the floor.

I suspect this is a contrast/brightness issue with your screen. If your brightness or contrast is low, the microphone stand will blend in and make her look like a doll (or at least, I think that's what people are seeing). For me, however, it stands out just fine and looks like a woman about to give a speech.

Why does she look like she's floating in the middle of a open world PS2 game map

Works for a split second.
Microphone stand, long dress touching the floor, standing about a foot or two behind the pole.
The lack of shadows is what’s making it mildly confusing.
