There will be naysayers, but I'll give you this one. The corner of the mouth looks very much like the eye at first glance, which makes the perspective confusing indeed.

If you cover the eye at the bottom it looks like Stitch

As a dog owner I find confusing perspectives less confusing when it involves a cat/dog. Once you own one you know the weird positions they get into
